Hydraulic fracturing, or fracking, is a process used to extract natural gas or oil from shale rock formations. It involves injecting water, sand, and chemicals at high pressure into the rock formation to fracture it and release the trapped gas or oil.

If you happen to lose your wallet card, you can contact us to order a new card for $55, or you can always use your digital card on the PECCARD.com website or the PEC Safety App. Both of these certifications are recognized as official certifications by PEC.

Your PEC H2S Clear does expire every year. OSHA requires any workers who work in an area where H2S may possibly be, or has the potential for exposure to H2S, to go through an annual training.

Cancellations within 24 hours of class will not be refunded. Cancellations prior to 24 hours before class will receive a refund of 85% only; this is the maximum refund allowed. Cancellations must be made by email to support@pecclass.com. Full details are on our Cancellation / Refund page.

All of our PEC Classes are virtual, meaning courses are live instructor-led courses but you will attend from a computer, tablet, or smart phone. The student must be able to be on camera and have the ability to talk to the instructor during class.
